In addition, Eileen will explain the counseling requirements and give you a list of the HUD authorized Reverse Mortgage counselors in your area. You have the option of scheduling face-to-face or phone counseling.
After your counseling appointment, Eileen will prepare a simple loan application package, including support documents, for your signature.
Our Processing Center will order your appraisal and title, and any other necessary services to submit your loan to underwriting.
Once we have all necessary documentation, including title and appraisal, the loan will be submitted to one of our investors for underwriting.
Once the underwriter has cleared your loan to close, Processing will contact you to set up a convenient closing time and location. The closing takes place at your home.
